Taste of Ghana Festival

The Taste of Ghana Festival is an annual festival that was instituted in 2020 by the Ghana Investment Promotion Centre (GIPC) together with its partners, the Ghana Tourism Authority (GTA), Beyond the Return Secretariat (BTR), and the Ministry of Information in furtherance of efforts to consistently engage members of the diaspora community to leverage its enormous resource potential for Ghana’s development agenda, and to promote investments into Ghana through entertainment, tourism and culture.

The festival aims to showcase authentic made-in-Ghana products and Ghana’s rich culture in a more relaxed environment, highlight the business opportunities that Ghanaian culture and products provide as well as create an informal investor network session for new partnerships to be developed.

Taste of Ghana is a fusion of elements of the Ghanaian culture that work towards fostering a palate for Ghana and doing business in Ghana. 

After the successful Year of Return in 2019, the Ghana Investment Promotion Centre established the Taste of Ghana festival in a bid towards promoting Ghana as the premier destination of choice for investment and tourism. Through art, music, food, fashion, and day-to-day nuances of Ghanaian life, Taste of Ghana exhibits the many facets of Ghanaian lifestyle and viable avenues for investment.

The event’s mission is to continually highlight different aspects and elements of our Ghanaian cultural heritage and landmarks, which hold potential business value to attract the right investments for each opportunity.

The festival has been instituted as an annual event with the long-term goal of creating awareness of all aspects of Ghana’s rich cultural heritage.
